Alena needs help with her medical bills – can you chip in?

Many of you know Alena Hennessy as the wonderfully talented artist who offers the online course Abundant Wild Life. Those lucky enough to have met her at Squam Art Workshops know her as the warm, nurturing teacher of Awaken the Muse.

Last month Alena was in a car accident. As she said on her Facebook page,

“Well I believe an angel wing must have slipped in and protected me a few days ago after I totaled my car on the hwy, was rushed in an ambulance to the ER and released later that evening. I am still assimilating the experience & almost don’t have words . . . just some bruises & swelling…. healing. Grateful to be alive.”

Now it’s our turn to be angels for Alena. Her hospital bills total around $1700 – if each of us can give to the extent that feels right, we can help Alena deal with this unexpected and unwanted expense. I’m confident that the generosity and kindness of Alena’s friends and acquaintances will shine through for her just as that angel wing did on the highway.
